A different approach to self-defense

KTA’s Hapkido program focuses on practical self-defense, including joint locks, throws, redirection, and pressure-point techniques. Awareness and control are central to the training.

Find your starting point

No prior Hapkido experience is needed to get started. Speak with the academy about appropriate placement, current class availability, and what to bring before attending.

Ask about Hapkido

Contact KTA to discuss your experience and goals. Specialty-class placement is arranged with staff; Hapkido is not a default Taekwondo introductory-trial slot.
