The art of the hopae

Hopaesool takes its name from the hopae, an identification tag associated with Korea’s Chosun era that developed a martial use. The art offers a distinct way to explore Korean martial traditions.

Coordination and control

KTA’s Hopaesool training develops striking patterns, footwork, and defensive movement. Practice emphasizes coordination and precision.
